Moving to NWA

I went to visit Northwest Arkansas this past week and LOVED it. I interviewed at Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville & Springdale & St. Mary's in Rogers. Does anybody know anything about any of these hospitals?

I am really considering diong the move this summer and would like any info anybody might have.

Stacey

Re: Moving to NWA

I just got my license here in CA in February of this year so can't do the travel thing yet. I got offered a position at Northwest in Springdale and I think I will take it. Maybe I will work at another hopsital per diem too, just for the extra $$$... We dont' have a house here and probably wont' get one there for a while but hopefully it will be soon. I have 2 kids and really need mroe space.

Re: Moving to NWA

I don't need a lot of experience to work through this company? Also, how much do they pay hourly? I can work in the NWA area?

Re: Moving to NWA

I work at NW-B as a Patient Care Tech (aka, sr. nusring student) and I love it there. Everyone is very nice, very willing to help and I haven't had one complaint yet about my job at all. My SIL has worked for them for years (before they become NW, she worked when it was still Bates) and won't work anywhere else. I'm sure that NW-S is the same.

Hopefully when I graduate in Dec. I'll stay there as a RN.

Good luck!!!
