Instructor question

I have finally moved to Warren, AR. and got settled in. I went to work for Bradley county. Low pay, expensive insurance, but 30 seconds from the house.

When we got here someone at church said that there was a course you could take in AR, to become an instructor. Does anyone know anything about what ity would take to become and instructor.

Re: Instructor question

Hello, kara.rn and welcome to allnures.com and the Arkansas forum

I haven't a clue what this course could be???? To be an instructor, normally the individual must possess at least an MSN - some a PhD, to teach in an RN program. The PN programs - some will take the BSN prepared RN and some BSN prepared who must be working on their MSN.

Now, for clinical instructor, the RN can possibly possess ADN or BSN - all depends upon the program.

Enjoy the site here at allnurses........

Oh and.........

WOOO PIG SOOIE............RAZORBACKS!!!!!

Re: Instructor question

Most of the instructors I know have to have their BSN and working towards their MSN.
