As posted, ARNEC is a program which links 6 schools, via telecourse. It is an LPN to RN program. It lasts 12 months, Jan-Dec. This past year each school took 10 students, this year they have taken 20 students per school. Classes are on Tues and Thurs nights with clinicals usually every other weekend. Clinicals are done near your school. Some schools started out with clinicals every Sat. but I think most schools have changed to every other weekend, 12 hour shifts. There were several students that attended last year that were going to be licensed in TX or LA. This program works well for those that have to work while going to school. Any other questions, please ask. I just graduated from ARNEC at BRTC in December and found out Friday that I passed boards!!
