Did you anyone get an email today with an admission letter attached? I'm shocked by the timing; I wasn't expecting to hear for another few weeks. I'm so happy and relieved but feel like I won't truly believe it until it arrives in the mail. Would love to hear if anyone else received this!
Oh happy happy happy day! I got in to the ASBSN program!!!!!!!
I found out via email, and it said that the official letter will be sent out next week, (along with the paperwork, I assume, too).
Time to celebrate!
Question - for those of us who get in, do you want to get in touch? I'd love to be able to find a roomate (or roomates) who is (are) also in the program.
I got in too! I am going to be working in one of the Carondelet hospitals (which I think was my first choice - it was either that or UMC but eitherway I'm happy).
As far as housing, I'm planning on living alone but I'd be curious to hear about the places/areas people are looking at. I went to U of A for undergrad but I'm sure the city has changed alot since I graduated in 2000.
Not sure where I am going to live - I hate renting an apartment for 3 years, so I am trying to do some financial planning to see if I can afford to buy a small condo. Not hopeful though. I really like the foothills area of town in the North, but I am wondering if that will be too far away from campus and the hospitals - especially with the unbelievable amount of traffic I witnessed during the interview weekend (how is there no highway in a town of 1 million people?!?!?). I would like to here from people who went to UofA for undergrad or has lived in Tucson (since I have only spent about 48 hours there in my entire life) as to what the nicer/safer/best/ parts of town are.
