starting a new career at phoenix arizona

hi. i am a new male nurse and got a job opportunity in phoenix arizona - they want me to work at st. joseph hospital at 24 dollars per hour... do you think that will be suitable for my everyday life?
i want to know more about phoenix arizona, its crime rates and standard of living. is transportation easily accessible? i would love to talk to someone who is living in phoenix arizona and is currently working. thanks.. Private Message me, please.

HI also have a job offer with St Joes in Phoenix Arizona, Also $24 hr.
I am not there yet but I know nurses who are at St Joes, i.e madwife2002 for example.

look in members list and then pm madwife2002, Or you could search for her postings and get a bit of background, she is sick at the moment but i'm sure she will reply ASAP.
Job offer is for med/surg, hopin to get to phoenix etc within nxt few months.

thats cool. so you are also a nurse. well, i am. starting a career here in america. im still waiting for the placement agency to finalize where but they offered me a job at st. joe's - i am currently in california and wondering what life would be in arizona. hehehehe -

Me too, I got a offer. I am form Iowa and I am AZ bound, I am going to Neuro, I am a New Grad as of May2006 and its not 24$ but close and I cant wait. Hope to see you there

Hi,

Well it looks like there are an a few of us going When I interviewed I was also informed it was neuro, did you know there building a new tower onto the hospital were the neuro will be housed, originally thats were i was going, but with the time delay not so sure were I'm going now. Just know its neuro:hatparty:

really? thats great for you guys - im still waiting for them to finalize it - but im still thinking about it - i dont have relatives in phoenix and i feel itll be difficult living without someone who you know living near in case you need help - hehehehe.
