Progress!!

Thought I'd start this to document my progress on my way to becoming an RN.
I am pretty much starting on the bottom education wise. I finally just got my GED, I passed! I just applied for FAFSA to see if I can take some pre-reqs this summer. I hope I can get all the pre-reqs done by next spring, that's my goal.
Now I start CNA school next week. *Phew* Hopefully I'll update this in 4 years saying "I AM AN RN".. LOL

Re: Progress!!

Good for you, Hausfrau, on completing your GED! I am in roughly the same boat - starting my pre-reqs on the long road to becoming an RN. I hope to be done in the spring as well - now I just need to figure out to how convince my boss to let me off at 4pm for those 4:30 classes....

Re: Progress!!

That's awesome!! Everyone has to start somewhere and you are well on your way!! Try to keep envisioning your final goal of passing that NCLEX exam everytime you get discouraged. You will have bumpy roads ahead, but keep at it because one day you will look back and be glad for the ride. If it doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger.
