I was recently out looking at new builds in the city of Maricopa when I came across a sign that read hospital site. Does anyone know who is building a new hospital out in Maricopa? I havent heard anything from Banner or CHC/ Abrazo but I am sure it is one or the other. Anybody know?

Is Maricopa in Pinal County near Queen Creek? If so,I believe that is going to be Banner Ironwood Medical Center. They are also in the process of building a hospital in Buckeye

I cant tell you how close Maricopa is to Queen Creek but I do know that it is in Pinal County. I know that Maricopa is between phoenix and Casa Grande. Near Gila River reservation and I think wild horse? So im not sure? Thanks with a name and a company I can start doing some more research.

I just done some research and the new hospital that you were talking about will be in Queen Creek, but the one im talking about will be in the city of Maricopa.

I haven't heard anything about it yet myself. I live in Maricopa so that would be AWSOME if we were actually going to get a hospital. Since being an RN is still a few years away it would be nice to actually not have to made the dreaded drive down 347 every day. But with our population the way it is I can't imagine we would get one heck its taking forever for a Wal-Mart. But we totally need a trauma center closer than.... heck I don't even know where the closest is. Chandler. But HERE would be great. The way to make a city sure would be finally getting a hospital. Oh where did you see the sign?

They need to be thinking about building another ROAD out to Maricopa before they start thinking about anything else, least of all a hospital.

I saw the sign on bowlin and porter in maricopa. It is near the where the new walmart will be they are putting street lights up and paving the streets over in that area. The sign just reads hospital site by utaz.

First I heard that It would be a CHW hospital now im hearing that it will be a banner hospital? Some nurses told me that they live in Maricopa and that they read in a paper that it would be a Banner and that it was still five years away? So I have not read anything im still searching myself?
