Jennette, where is everyone in your class doing clinicals? You said you're doing yours at PV. Do you have a say in where you go or is it assigned? PV will be reeeallly far for me. I just figured we'd be assigned hospitals downtown Phx.

under query by school select PC and you will see a listing for the clinical times/locations etc....

MCC didn't let us choose where we wanted to go. We had to select either day or night cllinicals. It looks like all of PC's Block 1 clinicals start at 0700....

Thanks for the link. It looks like we'll be doing clinicals at St. Joes, PV, Thunderbird, Good Sam or the VA for block 1. I wonder if we have a choice. They're all offered at the same times (relatively) and on the same days. If I had my choice, I'd pick the VA just cuz' of my husband's AF experience and I may want to work there someday. I hope we get to choose.

No, I haven't gotten a chance to do my shopping yet. You? My husband has decided that we'd better get the house renovation done before I start in January. So I've been shopping for kitchen sinks, faucets, countertops and the like. It will look great once it is done but I'm feeling spread a little thin these days.

Hi Deanna, In block one they took a list of where we live and what our first choice for clinical would be. They were good about putting us closest to home. There are ten people in each clinical. I go wed and thur 6:30 - 2:00, we have to go in on Tuesday before and pick a pt. then we come home and research their diagnosis, and the meds that they are on so we can pass them the next day, It is alot of work! But you learn so much! Let me know if you have any more ??'s, I know it is so exciting, I still cant believe that I am in it! Jennette
