Everest Feb 08 class??

Is anyone in the Feb class 08 class. Anyone thinking about going the private college route instead of waiting around for community college? If you did the private route do you regret it or recommend it? TIA

No, but they have called me three times in 2 weeks. The first time they said they were requiring A&P as a pre-req. Since I don't have that I won't be applying. When they called again, they said that for the July start they won't be requiring anything other than the HESI and COMPASS tests. Im afraid of the HESI so I may start studying. Im not sure I can even start school then because of the daycare situation and clinicals. I know they said I may need to be available between 6am and 11pm. Im NOT, so not sure when I will be but it'd be good to study and atleast know if I can pass that test for future reference. For now I will just keep taking a class here and there and wait until life allows me to begin a program.....

Re: Everest Feb 08 class??

They have a class starting in July that will not require A&P. They are accepting applicants for that class now as well.

Re: Everest Feb 08 class??

This is their first year with an ADN program in Phoenix. From what I understand, they have one in Florida. They are a regionally accredited school so the credits will transfer much easier than those from nationally accredited schools such as PMI and EBSN. They are approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing. If you ahve more questions, I will be happy to try and help.
