Yeah I too didnt like the area..Seems for the cost they would put more into the school- but nice to know they have a good program ! Would be nice to hear from someone who has graduated from the program so we know if they feel they recvd adequate training for the job, sometimes those types of schools just sign people up (like Apollo)

Thank you for responding ! Let me know once you graduate RN program if the school is worth it, Sometimes after going through those types of schools(trade school) you havent really learned too much. I went through the MA program at Apollo yrs ago, good program, got A's. BUT when it came to the real world I hadnt learned anything,or atleast didnt retain it because it was too much info given to us at once. BUT Good Luck to you

I have only been at Ethel Bauer for two semesters and I have learned so much. I wish people wouldn't judge the school based on it's location. Yes, it's a fast paced program but I do perfectly fine on the unit. They completely prepare us for everything. Good luck, I hope you find the school you're looking for.

Is Ethel Bauer a diploma, ADN or BSN program? IThere is NO waiting list? Does that $26k cover everything (tuition, books and fees) for the entire program? How often does the program start?
I checked the website, but I didn't find what I was looking for.

Hi joanna87-
Sounds like you are on your way to being a nurse, thats all that counts ! !
Good work, and keep it up. As long as we all pass the NCLEX exam who cares what school we go to,or what degree we have ....
Hi sunnyjohn-
The school is actually part of IIA(international schools of america) look up their website on the link is there. Its a ADN program, takes about 17mos(?) includes everything.

ADN program. As far as I know, there is no waiting list. Yes, 26k covers tuition, books, and fees for the entire program (5 semesters, 18 months). Each semester is 15 weeks.

YIKES! $26,000 is a lot of money. That was enough of a deterrent for me. I figured I could sit out a semester and save a whole lot of money and go to the community college for my ADN.
I guess it's a good thing there's lots of different schools for different folks' needs.

I'm sorry to bring this thread back up, but is there any news on the accreditation of EBSN? According to their website, they are ACICS accredited, but have they gotten NLN or any other accreditation(s)?
What RN-BSN schools would accept graduates from EBSN?
