Well nananurse3 there are so many places to go - send me a private message and then I will send you my email address and we can chat. Currently talking to another member this way and it works out better then trying to post all this information and especially since I am so busy with school and such sometimes its a month or so before I have time to get on here and search for new messages. Hope to here from you soon!

Cool Re: Introductions

To Nananurse3-Everywhere in AK there is something wonderful to see. I live in South East so eagles are common, as are whales and sea otters, etc.
I also have lived up north and visited different parts of the state. Winters are wonderful in the snow areas. Avoid SE if you don't like mud and rain. Summers in SE are the best. Not too hot and you are right on the water.

Wildlife on the mainland is everywhere. Moose, deer, caribou, bear, fox, etc. Denali is too be seen! I have frinds who have climbed it but that is not for anyone but the most fit and prepared. Many climbers die each year trying it. Other mountains are climbable and worth the effort if you are able.

Anchorage has lots to see but it is too big and typical city for me. Juneau is great for a visit; but again, I would not want to live there. As the capital it seems every conversation is political and everyone works for the state. While I know that is not really true it does not attract me except for the cultural aspects. They have great folk festival and every other year a gathering of native groups. They also attract lots of talent.
