Challenging the Board

I'm about to enlist as a 91WM6 in the Army and was wondering if it was possible to challenge the nursing boards to work as an RN based soley off of 91WM6 training. I'd still be going to school for my BSN but the pay increase would be nice while I'm doing it.
I know it can and has been done in WV and CA although I think they're cracking down on CA. I would love to live in AK so hence the question.
Any info is appreciated.
Thank You,
Zfynxs

Re: Challenging the Board

CA and VA will permit you to take the LPN Boards, but the RN boards cannot be challenged in any state.

They are the only two states that permit it currently, but then those licenses also do not transfer out of state. Remember that the NCLEX exam has reciprocity, but the license does not. You must meet the educational requirements of the other state to get a license there by endorsement.
