USA BSN program

Hello all AL nurses. I would like to know if anyone know anything about USA school of nursing BSN traditional program. I'm a transfer student with a 3.09 GPA. What are my chance to get to be accepted? I've never looked into their program before and this is my first time ever. Thanks for any inputs.

Re: USA BSN program

Just graduated from there. Average gpa is about 3.2-3.5 but some get in with lower. The hardest(highest gpa)semester to get in is fall and the easiest is summer. There are lots of exceptions so good luck. Write if you have any specific questions.

Thanks for shedding some light. I'm currently have an overall 3.18 GPA but I'm still have more classes to take to complete my AA at CC in the fall, and there are chances that I will be able to bring it up higher. How do they evaluate the GPA? Just on the transfer courses alone or the overall with unrelated courses I'm taking at CC? Most of my classes apply to the program, just several don't (for AA). Also, what do I need to do to prepare for the smooth process just in case I miss something else? Thanks so much for your help

Re: USA BSN program

I am graduating from the generic BSN program at USA. I would say that if you want to go there, send in for a transcript evaluation when you apply. The numbers of applicants fluctuate, so the competitiveness fluctuates as well.

Good luck! PM me if you have any other questions.

Elizabeth
