I made a crucial decision over a year ago, that if I was going to spend the next 20 to 30 years working, it needed to be in a career that I was excited about. So, I researched nursing programs like crazy and I finally found the best one for me.

I was expecting a package via mail to notify me of my status, but I received a phone call, an email, and I'll be getting package next week that says I'm accepted into UAB's AMNP program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took ALL 3 science prereqs and labs in 1 semester and got A's and B's, so I know that I am ready for the challenge. I can say that I'm a nursing student!

I am applying to this program for May 09. I am taking the last of my prereqs this fall. I have email Ms Ohman and asked for a the schedule of classes for summer/fall 08 just to see. So far I have no response. Can you give me any details?

You can look at the class schedule online. When you go to the UAB website, in the search bar type in "class schedule." The first link that comes up will take you where you want to go. Just look for the courses that correspond to the CNL program and that will give you an idea of the course schedule. The classes are offered in a block so you can only take them during a certain time. I hope this helps.
