Question expired license

What will be done by the ABON if a facility allows nurses to work on expires license? Is there a fine to the facility or the nurse?

I'm not in Alabama, but usually it can be both, although the nurse will get a fine, have to provide CEUs and NOT work as a nurse in my state (KY), until the BON gives the OK. If the facility KNEW she was expired, they're more likely to get in trouble too.
