I am currently doing the Excelsior program and I was wondering did the BON for this state let you sit for NCLEX?

No, at this time the AL BON will not accept Excelsior grads for the NCLEX. You may after some experience try to get an AL license, but the BON looks at every applicant on a case by case basis.

Sorry--AL will probably not be changing their minds on this anytime in the future.

As always, talk to the state BON about any questions you might have prior to starting programs like EC--or any other for that matter.
