In a view to move to new hospital in few yrs time, we have been asked to do process mapping in our area in terms of patient's journey thru hospital.

I have not done this before and would appreciate and help/hints etc.

I just did a process map as part of my Managing in a Care Environment course (BTEC level 4) - which I've just passed. PM me if you need any more help.
