New Graduate work in UK - advice please!

Hi everyone,

I am a 3rd year nursing student from Sydney, Australia. I will be completeing my RN degree at the end of this year.

My boyfriend is planning to move to the UK to work at the end of this year and I am considering my options for being able to work oover there.

I am eligible for a british passport as my Dad was born in the UK, and I am working as an assistant nurse at the moment also, so I do have experience.

So I would be extremely grateful for any info about potential internships or preceptorships in the UK (preferrably London area) and how I would go about meeting requirements to work in the UK.

Thank you
Chanel

Re: New Graduate work in UK - advice please!

First you need to get your UK passport
then with your australian license apply to the NMC to get it checked

be warned there is still a severe lack of jobs in the UK and new qualified posts are scare NHS trust may favor their own students and prably there are few private jobs.
