Great, I was going to say keep us posted but was in a haste to reply!. I am also following some leads here in OZ, but that would mean distance learning and I"m not sure if that is sufficient.

He said it was in answer to growing demand!!!
I suppose it could be due to the job freeze in NHS trusts
anyway.. just thought i would share

Thank you so much. Brighton University offers this course as well but I was told it will be around £500 will wait to find out how staffordshire is going to be charging. Another uni that offers the course is Otago in New zealand it's distance learning about £300. have used them there are good

the thing you have to be careful about if making hours up for another country they may prefer both theory and practical applications done together. If distant learning may be very hard to organise the practical and will need signing off by a recognised body ie uni or school of nursing

Brighton Uni do seem to offer the course with both theory and practice based on what the individual needs. However, it states that it is done in collaboration with O'Grady Peyton, so I wonder if you have to sign with them to be able to do the course?

Here are the links

I am assuming you can post links??

When I made the enquiry i was told it does not matter so not sure if things have changed cause to thiink of it money is involved i don't think the uni would only wait for referals from O'grandy

these links are ok to post and thanks for posting. People will just have to contact maybe if the demand is high they will think about offering them generally and not in context with an agency

as long as you have official signatures and transcipts you may be ok but won't really know until you go through the process.

I don't want to put dampers on it for anyone but would hate for people to go through the process and then find that something is wrong and won't be accepted.
