Unhappy Emailed the london embassy and .....

Hi all

I emailed the london embassy and I got his reply:

Department of State records show that your application is still pending with the National Visa Center (NVC) in New Hampshire

This to me does not sound good! Does anyone understand exactly what this means? And can you work out what stage I am at?

I am never going to get to USA! LOL!

Thanks

sounds like your file is still in the US... have you heard that NVC has finished with your file. They have set dates when they send files out to the embassies

Re: Emailed the london embassy and .....

Have you tried ringing the NVC for status on your file...once they have finished with your file they will send it to the Embassy then usually within about 6-8 weeks the Embassy will contact you with a date for interview.

It all depends on how long the NVC will keep your file for but you can ring them for sure

Re: Emailed the london embassy and .....

Hi

Thank you for the messages, I emailed NVC earlier today. The last thing I heard from anyone was July 3rd with the choice of agent thing.

Its so hard trying to work out an approximate time (what the hell takes them so long!!) Arrrr so frustrating!!

Thanks again

You can call the NVC automated phone service...(001) 603 334 0700.....key in your receipt/case number and you will get an immediate update by voicemail

Re: Emailed the london embassy and .....

My DS230 and visa bill was sent to NVC the middle of June from FL.

I called the NVC last week they received my file July 24 and the message said it will take 6-8 weeks from this date.

So I guess I will wait until at least Sept and give them a ring then.

We still want to get to FL before Christmas and keeping our fingers crossed.
