hi,

i am a UK OR nurse and i have applied for a job at TQEH in adelaide.
does anyone on here work there? what is it like from a nursing perspective? i have read all the info i can find and it looks really good.

hope to be out there later this year

Hello Debbie, in advance: WELCOME to Australia!

The OEH is a large public hopsital situated in the western suburbs of Adelaide.
It's an older hospital but has undergone several upgrades over the years.
I worked as an agency nurse there on many occasions prior to my retirement.
It's a busy place as I recall. I did not work in OR though, therefore cannot help you with any insight on that score.
I'm afraid I'm unable to offer you more, but do wish you all the best.
Maybe someone here might post who is currently employed there.
