Question temporary accommodation in sydney

Hi, im looking for cheap accommodation for end of july near Royal North shore Hospital. I would like somewhere to stay whilst I find a permanant appartment. Im not really wanting to stay in back packing type of accommodation. If anyone knows of any where cheap n cheerful all appreciated. Im coming from Scotland and unsure where most nurses in my position stay. help help

Re: temporary accommodation in sydney

If you check on lastminute you'll find a range of accomodation including guest houses (from $45 a night for a double room). Accomodation around RNS is really expensive, so you're almost certainly much better off living further away and commuting in. Good luck

Re: temporary accommodation in sydney

scots, there's an apartment building right near the hospital called; "The Forum". My son lived there for a time. It has a swimming pool, gym etc inside the building. There are short term leases available from memory. You might even be able to share with someone already there who is looking for a flatmate. It's got an access to the hospital and the train stops right beneath the complex. There's shops and all kinds of other outlets, including food outlets.
