Need Information - home nurse help!

Hi...

I'm new to the forums but experienced in nursing specializing with geriatric patients for about 9 years.

I have a few questions concerning what i would like to do for (work) At the moment I'm a single stay at home mum to a little boy whom is 3 and attends daycare 2 times a week. I would like to get back into the work force but only on a casual basis or - full time if i can arrange more days for my son at his centre.

Anyways ill try to explain the best way i can i was thinking of placing an add in my local paper advertising home care or home help for the elderly like cleaning duties showering etc etc I have a few questions on what would i need ?

Do i need permission from the council? Do i need insurance? how do i go about obtaining police checks? Do i need an ABN (Australian business number?) what are my legal obligations ?? I'm just really confused on what i need or who i need to talk to about starting.. please any information would be much appreciated
