elective placement in australia

hiya, im only in my first year (nearly finished it!) but am already considering taking an elective placement in australia (im from england studying at manchester). does anyone know how to go about this? and i am especially interested in perth, what are my chances? x

Would like to be able to give you some relevant information but I really don't know how you go about it. You may have to have an Australian university connection thoughy. Good luck with your studies.

You HAVE to set this up between your university and a university here. It will also cost you, how much I have no idea. Googling "Clinicals for overseas students" threw up a couple of universities that do cater for overseas students but you would have to contact them to see if they are willing to offer a single placement opportunity.

mmmmm you will need to contact your school to make sure they have agreements with universities in AU, and the uni here for that semester should be able to help you get a placement. But not all unis do study abroad for nursing
