What State are you in? It may not be accurate for your State but its accurate for Connecticut.

I spoke directly with the Connecticut BON and what I said is what they told me. Your first time issued license expires the FIRST time your birth month comes up (for some it could be 1 month, 7 months or any other time frame up to 12 months), after that your licenses expires annually on your birth month.

And actually the last sentence in my previous post was taken directly from the CT BON.

I'm in Virginia. I guess it may be different for different states because like I said, my license doesn't expire until 2011.
