French RN needs books advice

Hi, I posted the same question to the student nurse forum:

I'm a French nurse needing to study for work in Australia. I am looking for good books to study clinical pracitices.

The ones I'm considering are:

For general study:

Clinical Nursing Skills & Techniques, by Perry and Potter

or...

Clinical Nursing Skills: Basic to Advanced Skills, by Smith et. al.

For a pocket guide:

Rnotes: Nurse's Clinical Pocket Guide (Rnotes: Nurse's Clinical Pocket Guide), by Myers

or...

Mosby's Pocket Guide to Basic Skills and Procedures, 6th Edition, by Perry

I've read A Nurse's Survival Guide to the Ward, to familiarize myself with English descriptions and so forth, but now need to go a bit more in depth, and would very much appreciate any recommendations and/or help deciding which books to get, if anyone is familiar with these or similar books.

A friend is visiting from the US next week, so I want to very quickly send a couple books to her house to bring with her.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Chloe

Chloe:
I don't know about the first two books, but I've always thought that books by Mosby are very helpful. I had the RN pocket guide for psych, and NEVER opened it.
Good luck!
