BSN RN straight out of school to a CNS program?

I am currently a nursing student in a BSN program. My goal is to eventually work in the OR (for right now anyway, we'll see after clinicals). I know I can do this solely with the BSN, but I would really like to get my masters as well. I am not interested in becoming a NP so I was figuring CNS would be the way to go.

I would prefer to get all of my school done with and then start working afterwards, however after reading over the forums it looks like you really need some years of experience to become a CNS. Is it actually even possible to get into a CNS program straight out of a BSN program? Any replies appreciated.
