I was wondering would I still do this if I won the lottery. I went to play the power ball lottery today, because today was just awful and I figured why not play the lottery. The jack pot is 60 million.
As I sat and pondered how I would spend my winnings. I wondered could I really not ever nurse again???
I think I would still be a nurse somehow it is in my blood part of me. Although with a 60 million dollar bank account behind me I would definately say when, where and how I would be a nurse.

What about you????? What would you do????
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.>. .I would make a sizable donation to the hospital in memeory of my parents-maybe pay the rent into perpetuity on a few parking spaces so that cancer patients coming from a distance don't have to pay more then 10 bucks a day to park....Then I would take a trip around the world and ride all of the best rollercoasters...Then I would go back to school full time for my RN-then I would work part time-in home care...or hospice...

I would not work as a nurse, but keep my license.

I'd open up a club/spa just for women. All the workers would be men. Very good looking muscular men. In the front would be the salon and spa. Across the complex (separated by an olympic size pool) is the nightclub and restaurant (again staffed by men).
The nightclub would have shirtless men. The restaurant would have men with tuxedos and serve everything from vegetarian foods to the best steaks.

Nurses get 40% off at the salon/spa, free drinks at the nightclub and 20% off at the restaurant.

No way in hell! I'd open up IHOP restaurants, Togos sandwich shops, Take and Bake pizza places, and all of the other food places that I miss from California.

I'd keep up my license and work very hard to spend all the money I won. Then, if I ran out of money, I'd always have nursing to fall back on.

I might just have to budget, though, so I wouldn't ever have to actually go back to work.

I'd probably keep my license.

When I was in the music industry (on my way out) we had this discussion once. I worked with a bunch of 20-somethings really hot to makes it in the industry. They all said they would keep on working.

I just laughed. If I won the lottery, there would be a clap of thunder, which would be the air rushing in to fill the vacuum that I'd created when I'd left so fast.

They couldn't believe me. But it still holds true today - maybe even more-so!

Love

Dennie

Talking Lottery and Malpractice

Don't let anyone know you are a licensed person, because lawsuits come out of the woodwork when they find out you're a nurse and just won MEGA BUCKS from the lottery, and you know some of the time frames are like 7 years or more for a person to sue.... AND NO I WOULD NOT WORK AS A NURSE EVERY DAY...it would be when, where, and how I want to work as a nurse...oh well, so much for wishing.....

I would still pursue my Nursing Degree...Gotta do it! Do It for Myself!

Then work 1 day per diem.....

The rest of the time I would be lounging by the pool Dahling........ watching Oprah and eating Godiva Chocolates! and looking just Mavelous........
