I would not work. I believe I couldnt have enough mal practice insurance to cover me as soon as somone found out I was a multi millionaire they would have law suites coming and going. I would pay off my bills, set my kids up for life and travel and enjoy the rest of my life.

Now that's what I'd do, fer sure!

(When not lobbying for better working conditions for nurses, that is... ... and OF COURSE, make sure we had some scholarship $$ for the new grads.... )

Oh yes... and I'd enjoy it more because I wouldn't HAVE to do it.

2ndCareerRN,

I'm with ya!

I think I would also have to have a couple of of PRS's.

PERSONAL RETREAT SETTINGS

One in Galveston maybe, and possibly a whole mountain in Montana.

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd take the money and run! Go travelling, pay off all my bills, buy two or three new houses, buy new cars for my whole family, give money to church, pay for kids' college, but work????????????????????????? Never ever as long as I lived.

Well, I have done it again. I have collected a small stack of Lotto tickets here on the computer desk since August. I check the tickets every 3 - 6 months.

Yes, I'd still work (after taking about 6 months off to do some traveling), but under MY terms and in MY own long-term care facility. I'd bring in the Eden Alternative people and run it like a REAL home, with pets, plants & so forth.

Cool Would I WORK??!!

As a NURSE??!!

Not only NO, but HELL NO!!

I would, of course, like everyone else, pay off everything, set the kids up for life, pay off hubby's school loan...

Then.... travel, write, maybe even write about travel! Read all the hundreds of books I haven't had time to read and hire a housekeeper and a cook!! (That's me on a Royal Carribean cruise!)
