Summer Clinicals

Quick Questions - Does anyone attend or know of a nursing program (RN) offering summer clinicals? Thanks!

Re: Summer Clinicals

What exactly do you mean by summer clinicals? Do you mean a program where ALL of the clinical experiences are completed in summers? Or do you mean a program that has summer clinical courses as part of it's curriculum? If you meant to ask about the former, you would probably be hard-pressed to find any programs that have all their clinical courses in summer. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't keep looking, though. It only means that, in my experience, I've never come across a program that structures their curriculum that way. The program I'm in has some of its clinical courses in the summer, depending on which semester you start in. If you want more info, feel free to PM me. Have you tried looking on www.allnursingschools.com (I'm guessing you probably have). If you want to stay local, you should probably go to the website of your state board of nursing. They probably have a list of all the programs in your area, along with contact information.

Good Luck
