So I'd love it if you could give me a reference for any study that proves that I had some weird "psychological" reaction when I had never been exposed to pot smoke before.

To the best of my knowledge, the only thing "psychological" about smoking pot was the claims that it was "addictive." Happily, that experience was far from addicting.
Scientists have also proven that there is no physical dependence to the drug and very little psychological effects. People do it because it makes them happy

IF they're doing it because it makes them "happy", then perhaps they should seek out some psychological help.

The contact high is a myth.
Not in my case it wasn't. I didn't even know what pot was, for pete's sake. So I don't know where you're getting your information, but it's false, probably spread by those who are promoting legalization.

As I said, I would love to see which scientific study told you that information.

As i've said before to those who think that marijuana is harmless,
people thought that once about tobacco, too.

Lots of people drink alcohol to feel "happy", or to get some sort of effect from it. Does that mean the majority of americans need help?

By the way. I get alot of my information on research from JAMA. All you have to do is get on the JAMA site and search for what you want. PubMed is a real good site with published research also.

If someone has to have a substance such as alcohol or weed to make them happy, then yes that is the sign of a problem.

Hey, has there ever been a human being that did't have some sort of problem? Even Adam and Eve were disfunctional. But that's another thread anyway.

Yes, if they do need those substances to make them happy then they do need help. But usually when most of us have a few drinks we get that "happy feeling" I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. We dont need it, but most of us have a drink or two to help us relax, have a good time, and so forth. That is exactly the same thing as smoking a joint, same effects.
