I am in pain on a daily basis. I first noticed the pain in March 2005 when I experienced a 'claudication' cramping in my right calf. My right foot would become numb and walking would become a painful feat to accomplish. I would have to sit or squat in order to get some relief.
Fast forward to 14 months later. I still suffer from horrible calf pain but discovered it is due to a lower back problem with my lumbar spine (between L4 and L5). The nerve is being compressed, and the pain is being referred to my legs. It is called spinal claudication, or neurogenic claudication. I go to work with the chronic pain daily because I need to earn a living. I would do anything to make the pain go away forever. Anything.
