I only had to take it one time, but I have heard of people having to take it up to 7 times! The guy I know that did that is very smart, but he is a horrible test taker. When do you graduate?

Hello. I graduate in May of 2008. I have just finished my finals for Fundamentals and I am very nervous about my grade. Any tips on how I can better grasp the concept in test taking?

Go buy a NCLEX study book and practice, practice, practice!! I did horrible at first when we started doing NCLEX style questions, but the more I practiced them the better I did. I recommend getting a study book that also comes with a cd with practice tests. Make sure that whatever book you get, that it has rationales to why a question is correct/wrong.

If you don't graduate for a year and a half, I would not even worry about NCLEX at this stage. Practising NCLEX-style questions is a great help for school, but concentrate on learning the subject matter at this point and don't worry about the exam.

The NCLEX study books are normally seperated by subjects. I used mine a lot throughout my last 2 years of nursing school.

That's why I said NCLEX practice questions can be a great tool during school, and that she shouldn't worry about the exam at this point

It took just one time ten years ago. Get one of the NCLEX books and practice, practice. I also took one of those test-prep classes. That really helped and I am a horrible test taker.
