Re: Do you know your Blood Type?

O+ (I assume its + since I've been pregnant twice and never received Rho-gam. Both my kids are O+

I have tried several time to donate but I'm turned away for being "under" the required weight requirement and when I was a bit heavier, I was also anemic so I wasn't allowed to donate then. so, nope never was able to donate but wish I could.

I've donated whole blood a total of 8 times, but I've been deferred at least as many times, always for anemia. I don't consider myself "anemic", but my iron isn't usually high enough for Red Cross standards. I tried donating plasma a couple of times a few years ago, but my body didn't cope well with it.

O+
I used to donate quite a bit but since I've traveled to England on extensive stays, I can no longer donate due to Mad Cow.

Re: Do you know your Blood Type?

O+ I haven't donated in 6 or so years. I didn't meet the weight requirement for some time. Then I was pregnant, then breastfeeding, then pregnant AND breastfeeding, then breastfeeding...

Re: Do you know your Blood Type?

Don't know my blood type... and I worked in a blood donor center for five years prior to becoming a nurse.

I'm ineligible to give due to medical history and I guess I haven't had reason to find out about the type.
