Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
|
|
I'm waiting for my test results as I type...
I got 96 questions not 75, took the exam on tuesday sept 4th and finished @ 5pm. Apparently they make you wait the FULL 48 hours. Sigh. Guys I need encouragement, this was my second attempt and I keep rationalizing...the first time I had 265 which means I was teeter tottering the whole time. This time i was SOO much more prepared that this HAS to be a good sign right??? uuughh. This waiting periods sucks.

HI I took my NLCEX RN exam today and got 75 questions. This is my second attempt and i am just praying that i passed. I am scared because i got a ton of Prioritizing, who would you see first and delegating tasks questions. I had several med questions that i know i missed a couple of them. I am just scared as can be. I got a couple of fill in the blank math questions which i know for sure i got right. But i didnt get any select all that apply. Anybody not get any select all that apply and still pass? I dont know what i am going to do for the next 48 ours...HELP!

I had 1 calculation, 3 select all, the rest were prioritizing, delegating, 3 meds, a few diseases, and 3 infection control.

I went with a friend who got stuck taking all of the questions- not because she was doing poorly, just because every so often the computer picked someone to take all the questions. It was horrible for her- she just wanted to start hitting the C button. Glad she stuck with it and we both passed.
I am curious though as to why most people who were asked only 75 questions assumed that they had failed. I didn't. Does that make me conceited?

They think they failed because the questions they got were hard and they did alot of guessing, so if they had failed, they had to fail miserably for the computer to decide you don't have a chance...even if it gave you 190 more qustions.
