Woman expecting her 18th child

To each their own, or 18 of their own, I guess.

Ugh! This is disgusting. I don't care if they have all the money in the world-this is equilivent to cat hording.

Those poor children. They barely have minimal special time with their parents. What kind of childhood is that?

Re: Woman expecting her 18th child

I'm not going to pass judgement. But I have watched the show and their home is runs wayyyy more smoothly than mine (it makes me feel a little slack, actually!) and the children seem to be very well adjusted AND loved AND well behaved. Alot more behaved than mine!

Re: Woman expecting her 18th child

I have seen them on the Discovery channel. She homeschools and they built their own home. A nice nice home too, I am sure Discovery channel paid them a nice fee to film their family--you couldnt pay me enough to have cameras in my home!!

All I know is 4 is enough for me, I can barley keep up with the laundry and dishes.

I just think this is wrong. That is entirely my opinion though.

I think if this woman wants so many children in her home, she would better serve humanity by going out and adopting unwanted children from other countries instead of continuing to churn out a bunch of kids herself. She's like a dang dog that didn't get spayed.

Re: Woman expecting her 18th child

I've mixed feelings. Children are gifts; I am unable to have any, and if these children have a good life, which it sounds like they do, then I am really pleased for them - they are blessed. Mind you, I'm sure the parents are paying for it dearly; no sleep, financial concerns etc etc. And physical pain on behalf of the mother.

By the same token 18 is alot.

Best comment I've seen on the subject:

It's a vagina, madam, not a clown car!

Kind of wrong, but really, really funny...

Re: Woman expecting her 18th child

I've got 1.

He missed the bus 3 times this week (that's a record). This morning, he made the bus (because dh got him up and going), but didn't have his binder with him because I forgot to put it back in his backpack last night.

Right now, there are probably 6 loads of laundry backed up waiting to get done and both of the bathrooms need to be cleaned.

Oh yeah, I think I could handle 18 of them allrighty...
