After hearing what Bush and Cheney had to say yesterday about ousting Saddam Hussein, the nations of the world were quick to say they ARE NOT aligned with the U.S. to attack Iraq. Turkey, Syria, India, Pakistan, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, China, all spoke out today and said "No!".

Read their comments on Yahoo news. All of these countries spoke out today after the Bush people said the other countries would line up with us.

Other countries have been saying no for the past week.

Dick Cheney is a little unnerving...."Saddaam is a new Hitler!" (bad as he is, I think that rating gives SH too much credit.) As for effectively comparing himself (DC) to Churchill in being a lone voice speaking out against the tyrant, well that is way too far a stretch!

absolutely reflects how out of touch with reality the old crook is.

And how arrogant they both are.

Plenty of Republicans who voted for them are now asking themselves... ..."What happened?" (to the guys I voted for)

The entire world......recognizes their arrogance. Cheney's

ticker is certainly not getting enough O2 to the brain. I

anticipate him having the big one any day. Two more years of

Cowboy George. I'm afraid it won't save the Iraqi

people...Dubya is hell bent on attacking, just for the hell of

it. It won't make him one dollar richer. But he will have

vindicated dad with American fighting mens' blood.

Personaly I say screw the world. Since when do we need thier approval for ANYTHING!!!!???? it is time we stopped listeningto popular opinion and do what is right. TAKE OUT SADDAM NOW!!!! I am sick and tired of other countries dictating our foriegn policy and telling us what to do. WE ARE THE BIG BOYS ON THE BLOCK DAMMIT. We need to be telling them what they need to do, or we stop all foriegn aid to them. We give foriegn aid in one way or another to every country in the world whether through free trade agreements or through price protection for thier products or flat out giving them money for protection from thier enemies. As for the countries saying that we cannot use our bases over their to launch an attack...stop us. We should be able to use whatever means needed to stop them, even tactical nukes...yes Mario I said use nukes. We shopuld have used tactical nukes in the mountains of Afghanistan to get Osama and we should show SoDamn Insane that we mean business....take out an uninhabited part of Iraq. Tell him Give up or die your choice.

I would`nt normally post to this kind of crap..... but please people, when this kind of rhetoric is heard coming from an American... it is ammunition for all those who would do the US harm. Big boys maybe..... but 400 million out of 6 billion is`nt such a good number... beware alienating everyone else because as big as the US is she can`t survive in splendid isolation.
Clearly Dave you would`nt know whats right if it came up and bit you on the ass.... To act unilaterally would just confirm everything Bin Laden and his cronies have been saying about America for years... I don`t believe that... even remotely, but the vitriolic poison you have espoused would give some people pause for thought....

After reading this, please understand I am not advocating any form of attack on america...... far from it, I was born in the UK and I am grateful for the involvment of America in WW2, I served in the british military, I love freedom and despise all forms of dictatorship, and religous intolerance. But it is precisely this form of dialogue that Dave uses that is used on BOTH sides of an argument to justify the most henious of crimes. Every country has the absolute right to defend her borders, but when that 'defence' is regarded by the majority of the worlds population as an act of aggression... perhaps there is a need to listen????

Stuart....that is what they are saying. They believe in total destruction of our society. It is time to pay back in kind. If for a second you think that if they had nukes they would have not used them you are wrong. They would use them in a New York second. There is a belief that says if you punch me I will cut you with a knife, if you stab me I will shoot you if you shoot me I will blow you up. If you kill one of us, we will kill 10 of you....it is time to start living that system again.
