A 14 year old PA boy has been charged with harrassment for meowing at his 78 year old neighbor.

Leave it to PA... Once, a cop tried to arrest a motorist for flipping off another motorist. Off course, a judge threw the charge out. If being obnoxious becomes illegal, most everyone would have been or will land in jail sooner or later!Someone needs to rearrange their priorities, I think.

Hey, maybe you're missing something. If all the cops in Pennsylvania have to do is worry about meowing teenagers and motorists flipping each other off perhaps we should all move there. Must not be any 'real' crime to worry about.

There is some legitimacy to that question, but it still leaves open why cops in the United States of America, with very strong freedom of speech rights, believe that merely meowing at a neighbor constitutes harrassment. Wouldn't it be better if they confined their arrests to activities that are actually illegal?
