I think that he's saying that he is a pauper, and they won't get a thing even if they were to win a law suit.

Those off shore trusts that the wealthy utilize to protect assets that they technically don't own, come in mighty handy sometimes. Do you think that he is slick enough
to have done this? Oh yes!

I was thinking about this. The patient and his father claim they video taped the doctors in a conference telling them he was not contageous. The doctors did recommend he not travel but it was only a recommendation. The patient claims the doctors played the whole thing down. Now, I have no idea what really happened but I do think that video tape is evidence for sure. Have wondered if it does show the doctors playing the whole thing down if that leaves docs with any liability.

I don't sympathize with this guy. He is not ignorant. If the doctors did downplay his condition, then they did a very good job of it. If I were one of those people, I would be thinking long and hard about joining in this suit. But I might be urging the attorneys to go after the doctors also.
