Zamboni-

Thanks for the link. I loved it! I know dh will too. It reminds me of the things people say when speaking about Chuck Norris.

How about those Penguins are 7-0 so far in the playoffs?

The Rangers are starting to look like deer in the headlights. I hope the momentum continues.

Well, the Stars aren't quite 7-0...but that's because they like to play with their food before they demolish it. Of course, shark meat is nasty, so you want to get it over with fast!

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my Habs. It's looking like it'll be the Pens and Flyers in the East, and the Stars and Wings in the West! Pens and Flyers will be a great series..and I'll be cheering for your Pens for sure. Of course, that's because I want the Stars to play them in June! (Oh, the Stars and Wings..may have to quit my job! LOL!)

So, maybe our little thread here is bringing our teams good Mojo, eh?

Yeah, what's up with Montreal? Dh is pretty ticked. He really doesn't like Philly. Suppossedly they play pretty dirty.

Avery is out for the rest of the season (it may be only one game anyway) with a lacerated spleen. Good riddance for us! I feel bad for the guy from a medical standpoint. On the other hand, from a hockey standpoint, I'm certainly not shedding any tears.

Maybe it will be a Pens/Stars rematch. It would be nice to have a repeat of the 1991 Stanley Cup Finals.

I know what you're saying about Avery. Bad to happen to anyone, but if it HAS to happen to someone...

It was kinda funny when I first heard. My BF sent me a text at work with the original rumour that Avery had been transported to the hospital in full arrest! I was blown away (Hey...I don't want the guy dead!) and when some folks at work asked what was up, I told them what I had just heard. Well, they got all upset and were blown away and I'm thinking, "Wow. I didn't know they liked hockey, let alone knew who Sean Avery was!" and I'm thinking how ironic it is that that little punk is bringing all these new fans together...when I start to figure it out. They got mixed up and thought I was talking about Avery Johnson, the Dallas Mavs basketball coach, who just happened to get fired today. It was a realy weird moment.

Anyway, we played tired tonight...so back to San Jose to finish the Sharks. I knew my boys wouldn't pull a sweep if I was stuck at work and couldn't see it. And I would LOVE a Pens/Stars finals again...with a different outcome this time.

I am from Pittsburgh and I can say that most Pittsburghers are just over the moon about the Penquins.

Grrr...Sharks won't go away easy. And I rarely play the blame game...but Toronto overturning Morrow's goal last night was disgusting. I'd like to go to the head offices today and show them exactly what a distinct kicking motion really is!

On the bright side...we scored tickets to Game 6 here on Sunday!

Zamboni-

I hope you're enjoying/enjoyed the game. The Pens managed to pull a rabbit out of their collective hats. They should have never blown that lead.

Time to roll out the welcome mat to the Flyers. I think they're going to give us a run for out money.

Hope to see a Stars-Wings final in the west. Eventhough I did pick SJ to be in the confrence finals with the Wings. Have you guys checked out Johan Franzen. He is awesome.

Zamboni I hope you had fun at your game.

I am also cheering for the Penguins. I want to see them play the Wings in the Cup Finals.
