The police have found evidence that driver was text messaging. They say there were no drugs or alcohol involved but they are pretty sure the girl was in middle of sending or recieving text messages. There was also a speed problem. This is the accident where 5 cheerleaders were killed on way home from contest. What a shame. Something else parents have to tell their kids not to do.

It is really tragic. FIVE beautiful, healthy youngsters all excited about life, just ready to step into their futures. Bang! Gone! I can't really comprehend what friends and families are going through but my heart goes out to them.

my gd does this all the time and laughs when i chide her
this would be distracting for experienced drivers for someone with two or three years behind the wheel it is so dangerous
