Travel Nursing basics

Are "travel nurses" the same as "agency nurses?" Is there a need for home health care nurses in travel nursing? How could I find more info. Are the wages competitive to subacute / nursing home? My husband is a consultant and he gets contracts in various cities for 6mo / 1yr. so travel nursing one way or another is in my future.

What kind of specialties are in demand for travel nurses?

Which ones pay the best?

I won't graduate for another 6 months but I'm starting my research now. I was a 911 field Paramedic for 5 years and although I'm sure I would be good at critical care.... err.. got that t-shirt! Thinking of something a little more relaxing. Not interested of spending the latter half of my life with my heart beating in my throat.
