Seattle Agency

Hey,
I'm looking for some agency work in Seattle to supplement my income since I just bought a condo. I've only worked at a hospital in Tacoma and have never worked agency before. I'm in Critical Care. Can someone give me any advice about which agencies are good around here? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Re: Seattle Agency

Worked with HRN in Seattle. Utter nightmare!! I had moved there for a short time and they were not up front with me. I was adveraging 1 shift/wk....and I had no other income. Would work Seattle again (great hospitals), but not with HRN.

Re: Seattle Agency

I am looking at an ER setting in Seattle. I did some online research and there seems to be two large main hospitals, Harbor View and Swedish. I am wondering which ER to focus on? If anyone works there feel free to PM me so I can make my decision.

Re: Seattle Agency

You might want to talk w/the hospitals first and ask which is their preferred agency they use most. They will give you a few names. After that, inquire about salary and any bennies because these days many agencies do have that. It will help you out the most to write down your basic questions first and keep everything on paper to make up your mind.

I do travel but now I'm home with a sick Mom who needs me and working local agency. I know it's a hard decision to make but doing this methodically is the way to go trust me.
