HAS ANYONE EVER ACCEPTED AN ASSIGNMENT IN A FACILITY ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT WAS JCAHO WAS THERE AND IF SO WHAT HAPPENED ?
DID THE AGENCY KNOW ?

ALTHOUGH A NURSE FOR NEARLY 4 YEARS IAM NEW TO THIS AGENCY WORK..AND REALLY WAS ONLY LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE..THANK YOU ANYWAY.

Not sure what the issue is when JCAHO is in the facility, usually is no concern for the nurses that are working. The paperwork should have been done from the higher ups and prepared for the visit already.

Have been in facilities many times when this happened and never an issue at all.

Only issue I've had regarding inspections is Magnet Recert. My 2nd shift at a facility and someone from Magnet starts playing 20 questions with me. I wanted to do a major freakout. Thankfully, a pt called with issues.
