Pittsburgh Pa area anyone?

I've been working in LTC for 10+ years, mostly at the same facility, but now I need more hrs (can you believe that?)

Anyone in the area and want to give me a little advice about the good, bad and ugyl? I would be staying in LTC and in the south area.

Thumbs down Re: Pittsburgh Pa area anyone?

Avoid Kforce like the plague. When I dealt w/them, I was frequently cancelled or they wouldn't know when I called in and have to call me back. That was nice @ 4 and 5 in the morning. They lost a lot of paperwork and the different depts couldn't seem to communicate w/one another and they were only 1-2 cubes away from each other. They also sent me to facilities that have a color coded uniform system after reassuring me my non-matching ones (plain white, mind you) would be no problem. Wrong! Then they told me I couldn't be scheduled until I bought the correct ones. Grrrr! Now, how exactly was I suppossed do that w/no money coming in? I stopped calling in after that. That was about 1 or 2 years ago so things may have changed, but I really doubt it. They're just not worth the hassle.
