Permanent and agency job?

I'm curious to know if any of you have a permanent part-time or full-time job and work for an agency a few times a month? If so, how does it work out for you? Are you able to pick-and-choose which days you work for the agency?

Thanks,
Evan

Re: Permanent and agency job?

It all depends on what is available in your area, agency shifts can vary by specialty. Certain times of the year there are more shifts available, in many areas. It is strictly area dependent. You may get a better answer by posting directly on your state's forum.

Re: Permanent and agency job?

I work for an agency and have for over 2 years and I work at a hospital PRN. I took the job at the hospital to fill up time when the agency didn't have alot of work. I like having these jobs instead of one full time job, because I get to pick when I work on both jobs.
