Most reputable DFW agency?

I am returning to agency work and am curious if anyone here works in DFW and if they would recommend their agency and why. My very favorite agency went under several years ago, and my last one I was not real happy with (Maxim) so I'm not sure I want to go back with them....any suggestions?

I was extremely happy w/Criticare...however, unless you are an ICU RN/ACLS, they may not be the agency for you.

Good luck!

I, too, would like to find out some info on DFW/vicinity agencies. I will be relocating to Mansfield in July and would like to do some per diem work in LTC while completing a refresher course. TIA

Maxim does a lot of home care, private duty and LTC staffing if that is what you are interested in, Rosecarrier. They don't pay the best but seem to be last canceled for that reason.

Thanks for the info on Criticare, I amRN.....I am a critical care nurse so I will give them a call.

I've been working at HCA hospitals the past 5 yrs or so so mostly we see the HCA agency nurses there (All About Staffing)

And we are both nurses and the same age too...how bout that?!

There is a new Healthsouth rehab hospital being built in Mansfield. There is also a Kindred (LTAC) in the area and several nursing homes too if you wish to go on staff somewhere. Lots of work here agency and staff...good luck to you.

I'm to the point of liking my perdiem agency work....my temperment enjoys being able to say to myself 'you never have to come back here again if ya don't want." LOL!

Thanks for the info--I'm like that myself. I get a bit antsy after a bit and want to move on to something new. After my acute care refresher I want to "re-practice" a year or so in acute care and head out traveling. Thanks again!
