which option is best for first starting out in usa, direct placements with hospitals or continuing with agency until contract is up???

She does not have a visa, she is being petitioned thru OGP. And will be working for them first for the length of her contract. No US work experience as of yet.

sorry guys i have been away in italy on holidays.

yes i am with o grady at present. however i am travelling with my longterm partner and he wishes to complete his masters in university while over in america. this is causing some problems as o grady cant give a location until approx 3 months before departure to US. it had been discussed with me by o grady that direct placement maybe and option to overcome this obsticale. that means the hospital coming over on a recruitment drive would interview me and if i get the job id know exactly where it is im going so therfore can plan ahead.

my only concern is do i miss out on any additonal support or benefits??
