I'm making the leap and going agency! Questions

Hi,
I have 2 years experience as an RN. I have been working for the past 9 months prn and working anywhere from 4-8 shifts/month on a med-surg unit. I am going to temp agency Thursday to fill out my application. The receptionist said to bring 2 forms of id, my license, current BLS, and TB test results from within past year. At my current hospital, my skin test is due beginning of June. My BLS just expired and I have had trouble getting into a class at my current hospital (all the classes are filled up by time I find out about it).

Do most agencies have places where I can go and re-cert for BLS? Should I just go to my reg Dr. and get a TB skin test?

most agencies here have places you can get recertified for bls, but they cannot use you until you have it, atleast here where i am. you can take an online test NOW and just get the card until you can get a class, you can make your own card, which i wouldn't advise, or you can get on the phone to the american heart association or red cross and find a class. you can call all the fire stations near you and take one of their classes, that's how i always get mine.
as for TB test....the county health dept. here and free clinics here will do them either free or for $5.00. agencies here can use you if it's expired usually.
