Correct Me If I'm Wrong But...

Aren't agency people paid the big bucks to go to strange places and just be able to take over? Isn't that the nature of their work?

Not sure what you are referring to but, yeah i guess agency nurses may be expected to "jump right in" but that doesnt mean they don't deserve an orientation and provided with the necessary job specific training or induction.
They hold the same nursing registration as anyone else, so they must protect that also.
